Wickham Market Parish Council, East Suffolk Council, Suffolk County Council and Sizewell C (The Working Group) are seeking feedback from local residents on proposals to change the way traffic is managed in the village.
The application for a solar farm at Parham Airfield was approved at East Suffolk Council's Planning Committee on 4th October.

The Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk is promoting the Queen’s Green Canopy project, which aims to see as many people as possible planting a tree for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee to leave a lasting legacy from the milestone occasion.
The solar farm application is still being decided by the planners. The Parish Council has been working with Gt. Glemham and Marlesford Parish Councils and together they have secured a far more pleasing offer of funding for the benefit from the development company of £200/mw per annum if the scheme goes ahead.
