East Suffolk Council, in collaboration with East Suffolk Community Partnerships, are pleased to re-introduce the Katch bus service for a further year’s pilot scheme following local response to the service closure in December 2022. We hope that the service proves popular and therefore sustainable for future years.

The Katch bookable bus service recommences from Tuesday 11 April 2023 with a soft launch operating along the following route:

Framlingham – Parham – Hacheston – Wickham Market – Wickham Market Railway Station/Campsea Ashe – Tunstall – Snape Maltings-Snape

In addition, you can link in with the existing Coastal Accessible Transport Service (CATS) operating nearby which allows you to visit other towns in East Suffolk, such as Aldeburgh, Saxmundham or Walberswick. For more information, please visit www.cats-paws.co.uk

A downloadable App for advance booking the Katch bus will be launched very soon, but in the meantime you can book a journey by ringing the booking line on 01728 635 939 (Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm) or fill out a booking request form.
