The Rendezvous was founded 25 years ago by Norman and Pat Carr. Its aim was to provide a weekly opportunity for villagers to meet socially for games, talks, coffee, discuits and lots of chatter. In the early days between 20 and 30 people would come together on a Tuesday morning but over the years helpers have moved away, or, sadly, passed away and the members have dwindled to just a handful.

Daphne, the last remaining original helper, has done an amazing job at keeeping it all going but, after 25 wonderful years, the time feels right to bring Rendezvous to a gentle end.

A huge thank you goes to Daphne for all her hard work and enthusiasm.

To bring Rendezvous to a close there will be three garden visits:

4th June Kestrel Cottage

25th June  North Green Farm and

2nd July The Pightle.

Rendezvous members will get together for lunch (venue to be decided) to celebrate the passing of a much appreciated village institution.
