REPORTING FAULTS/PROBLEMS WITH STREET LIGHTS, ROADS, PAVEMENTS AND FOOTPATHS ETC:

It seems that every day a new pot hole is appearing on our roads.
This is no laughing matter as they can cause significant damage to drivers vehicles and are a hazard to motorcyclists and pedal cyclists.
If you have concerns about a particular section of road Suffolk County Council is your one stop shop for reporting all Highways and Public Rights of Way related problems and issues.
Their website is easy to use and is the most direct way to report all non-emergency faults and matters of concern, covering a whole host of categories with anything from verge cutting and trees to damaged roads and missing signs etc.
Type in SCC’s website address:https://www.suffolk.gov.uk Once on their site, click on the 'Report' icon. A category list will appear which will enable you to scroll left and right to find the relevant category to choose and click.
Once the page has loaded, follow the instructions on how best to proceed.
It is necessary to have the precise location and if possible a photograph of the concern is beneficial.
After reporting your issue online as long as you have given your correct contact details you will be sent an email confirming receipt of your report.
