Despite the rain around lunch time hindering setting up, the first village fete to be held at Silverlace Farm was a huge success and was well attended by Parham residents and visitors from further afield too.

There were many happy faces, with people enjoying Sarah's delicious home-made ice-creams, cold pints of Adnams and afternoon teas in the pretty garden surroundings.

The dog show also proved popular, with lots of dogs proudly displaying their rosettes or having a go at the agility course- thank you to Paws of Parham for organising this.

The final takings figure isn't in yet but hopefully the event has raised good money for the village hall.

More photos can be found on the gallery page. If anyone else has any photos they would like to share of the fete please do email them to the clerk- parhamparishclerk@gmail.com

Thank you to everyone who put so much effort into make this such a great village event.
