Flood Report- we need your data

Dear Residents,

As part of Suffolk County Council’s efforts to gather information on the flooding during Storm Babet in October 2023, we are seeking your help to provide data for the Section 19 Flood Investigation Report for Parham. 

We would be most grateful if you could share any information or evidence you have regarding the flooding you experienced during the storm. Specifically, we are looking for:

  • Photographs of any flooding
  • Measurements of water depth, if available
  • Details on the source of the floodwater (e.g., overland flow from fields, river overflow, sewage surcharge, or other sources)

Your input will useful in helping Suffolk County Council to understand the impacts of the storm and hopefully to suggest appropriate flood management actions.

Please send any information or photos to parhamparishclerk@gmail.com - or simply reply to this email. We have to have all data back to Suffolk County Council by 22nd September so your urgent response to this would be most appreciated.
