A picturesque village in East Suffolk
The purpose of the Book Group is to enjoy literature in a semi structured way, in an informal group.
There are currently 10 members, which is the practical maximum for a group, but we do not wish to be exclusive, and would be happy to talk to any prospective member who might be interested in this activity.
An informal AGM is held in December and 10 books are selected for the coming year. Each member leads and hosts a meeting.
Books selected have varied from English classics by Austen and Dickens to modern American and 19th Century Russian literature.
