A picturesque village in East Suffolk
A message from The Mills Charity
We have launched the application process for our new Almshouses in Mills Crescent, off Brook Lane/Vyces Road, Framlingham, comprising 4 one-bedroom flats and 10 three-bedroom terraced houses.
The Mills Charity provides almshouses for people (of any age) who are in need, hardship or distress and who have a strong connection with Framlingham or an adjacent village1. Such a link might be their own or a close family member’s present residence, a child attending a local school, or a current or recent past employment link.
Residents occupy houses under licence as beneficiaries of The Mills Charity, so there is no landlord/tenant relationship established between the licensee and The Mills Charity. A monthly sum is payable in advance as a maintenance contribution and not as rent.
